CCG & Greg Henderson Are Helping Companies Understand the New FAA Foreign Repair Station Drug and Alcohol Testing Ruling

December 18, 2025

“We are thrilled to acknowledge the overwhelming positive reaction we have received from people in the drug testing industry regarding the announcement that CCG and Greg Henderson have joined forces to provide compliance consulting support to employers and providers,” said Bill Current, Founder and President of Current Consulting Group (CCG). “We’ve never had this kind of reaction before. Clearly, Greg is very popular and well liked among his peers and clients.”

CCG issued a press release on December 2 announcing that CCG and Greg Henderson had entered into a new strategic partnership to provide consulting services for federal drug and alcohol testing regulations, with an emphasis on FAA, FMCSA, and Part 40, as well as the new FAA Foreign Repair Station Drug and Alcohol Testing Ruling.

“There is a lot of confusion in the industry regarding the new FAA Foreign Repair Station Drug and Alcohol Testing Ruling, which some people erroneously refer to as regulations,” Henderson said. “Right now it is more accurate to refer to them as a Ruling with more information to come,” he added. “But right now we can help covered employers understand the Ruling and how it might apply to them.”

On December 18, 2024, the FAA issued a final rule requiring certificated repair stations outside the U.S. to implement drug and alcohol testing programs that meet FAA and DOT standards, as well as applicable local laws. Many questions remain unanswered, which is where Greg Henderson can be helpful. He also made multiple presentations on this topic in October during SAPAA’s annual conference, which were very well received.

“Greg was initially invited to present a keynote session at SAPAA’s Annual Conference & Expo,” said Anne Kelly, SAPAA’s Executive Director. “But when a few DOT folks were unable to attend last-minute, he didn’t hesitate to step in and lead a panel discussion. He ended up delivering two strong, well-attended sessions that earned high marks from attendees. Greg knows this material inside and out and delivers it in a way that makes sense.”

CCG is the #1 recognized brand name for compliance consulting in the drug testing industry. Together with Greg Henderson’s expertise and aviation industry experience, as well as CCG’s other DOT consultants, the Current Consulting Group will be able to answer virtually any question, help employers prepare for audits, update their drug testing policy, and provide up-to-date supervisor and DER training as well as employee education.
